The Houlton Little League Association had about 15 people who chipped in to work on the Steve Porter and Lowery Little League fields last weekend.
Volunteers removed all of the sod from the field for the new softball infield, placed the sod that was cut out on the infield of the Lowery Field, and cut out the baseline portions of the Lowery Field, as well.

The infield mix pile was moved onto the Lowery infield, but still needs to be spread and more handwork is required to get spots of sod before covering the area with infield mix.
