PIHS students return Aug. 22
PRESQUE ISLE — Presque Isle High School announces several important dates for the start of the upcoming fall semester. Dates include:
• Thursday, Aug. 11 — Health Office opens for the 2011-12 school year. Office hours are 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Students transferring to PIHS must begin the registration process in the SAD 1 Health Office. Call 764-8105 to schedule an appointment.
• Thursday, Aug. 11 — Guidance Office opens for the 2011-12 school year. Office hours are 8 a.m.-3 p.m.
• Friday, Aug. 12 — Guidance counselors will begin meeting with students. Call 764-7721 to make an appointment with one of the three guidance counselors.
• Tuesday, Aug. 16 — PowerSchool for Parents Orientation, 6:15 p.m. in Room 409A.
• Tuesday, Aug. 16 — New Student Parent Orientation from 7-8:30 p.m.
• Wednesday, Aug. 17 — New Student Orientation from 9 a.m.-noon.
• Thursday, Aug. 18 — In-service day for PIHS faculty only.
• Friday, Aug. 19 — In-service day for PIHS faculty and staff.
• Monday, Aug. 22 — First day of school for PIHS students.
