ZUMBA CLASSES

Zumba classes are being offered at the Caribou Wellness and Recreation Center on Tuesdays from 9-10 a.m. Thursdays from 9-10 a.m. and 6:30-7:30 p.m. Check with the instructors for fee schedule.

HIGH IMPACT AEROBICS

Aerobics is being offered on Monday and Wednesdays from 6-7 pm and Saturdays from 8-9 a.m. The fee is $5 per class or 10 classes for $30; 20 classes for $50.

POWER OF PREVENTION EXERCISE CLASSES

The Power of Prevention exercise class is offered Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8:30-9:30 a.m. There is no fee for this program.

CARY EXERCISE CLASS

The Cary exercise class meets Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. The fee is $1 per class.

OUTDOOR SWIMMING POOL

The outdoor swimming pool is open and the hours for general swim are as follows: Monday through Friday 2-4 p.m. and Monday and Wednesday 6-8 p.m. Children 6 years of age and under must be accompanied on the pool deck at all times by a parent or designated guardian. Note children that are not potty trained must wear rubberized elastic legged coverings in the water.

FALL OUTINGS FOR ADULTS AND SENIORS

New this fall are outings geared towards adults and seniors. A flyer with the full list of trips being offered is available at the Caribou Wellness and Recreation Center. Below is a list of some of the outings being offered. Pre-registration is required for these trips. FMI call 493-4224. Sept. 3, guided kayak trip down Madawaska Stream, ages 18-55; Sept. 6-8, guided sightseeing trip to Bar Harbor, ages 55 and over; Sept. 10, guided bike tour along Aroostook County’s rail beds, ages 18-55; Sept. 13, guided birding tour, ages 55 and over; and Sept. 15, guided sightseeing tour to Oxbow, ages 55 and over.
