EASTON NEWS

Fifteen members of the Easton Happy Days Club travelled by bus to Oxbow on Thursday, June 9th, to visit the Homestead Lodge and see the buffalo herd and the new babies that were born this spring. They had a delicious lunch of buffalo burger, fries and dessert. After, they enjoyed shopping at the Oxbow Wreaths Gift Shop, owned by Steve and Judy Sherman.

Enjoying the ride were Helen King, Dellas Adams, Gerald and Vera Shaw, Elizabeth Martin, Nina Trask, Ed and Alta Rattray, Annette Copeland, Barb Bonville, Hollis Hull, Ezalee Smith and Marie Hewitt.

The winner of the Kiwanis Club Photo Contest was Trudy Fuller. Her picture of the Prestile Stream in Easton will be on the front of the Kiwanis calendar this next year. Congratulations Trudy.

Sympathy

Our sympathy goes out to the family of Walter Glijam, who passed away on July 13th. Walter and his wife Janet and their family lived in Easton for many years. They now live in Florida where the funeral service will be held.
