The Houlton 9-10-year-old Minor All-star team was eliminated last Friday night from the District 3 Little League Tournament im Bangor.
The Houlton all-stars fell behind early and were outgunned by Orrington, 16-6.
“I feel the kids did improve over the last month of practices and games,” said coach Joe Porter. “We just had a night where we couldn’t get going, and Orrington hit the ball.”
The Houlton Minors finished the all-star season with a respectable 2-2 record, placing them in the middle of the pack in seventh place out of 14 teams.
