In the interest of seeing who would like to have beauty pageants held again in Washburn, there will be a meeting for interested girls on Tuesday, July 12, at 7 p.m. at the Washburn District High School. The pageants will be open to any girls who are entering grades 1 through 12 or entering their first year of college.
There will be five titles: Little Miss (grades 1 to 3), Pre-Teen Miss (grades 4 and 5), Jr. Miss (grades 6 to 8), Teen Miss (grades 9 and 10), and Miss (grades 11 to entering first year of college).

ATV club news
The Washburn ATV Club will hold its next meeting at the clubhouse on Wednesday, July 6. A potluck barbecue will be held at 6 p.m., with the clubhouse supplying hotdogs and burgers. The meeting will start at 6:30 p.m.
