SEVENTH-GRADERS

SEVENTH-GRADERS in Elaine Hendrickson’s English/social studies classes at Presque Isle Middle School were recently successful in convincing administrators to revert back to plastic serving trays in the cafeteria. The middle school had previously been serving food on Styrofoam trays and the students learned that Styrofoam is not biodegradable and just sits in the landfill.
