End of year awards at Houlton H.S.

The Senior High Awards Assembly was held recently at Houlton High School.
Excellence in English awards were presented to Cody Woods, Allyson Carmichael and Robert Woods. Civil Rights Team certificates went to Breanna Phillips, Shelby Boyce, Erin Keehn and Tara Beals.  Awards were presented to choral and band members and JMG Community Service Awards went to Megan Anderson, Shelby Boyce, Cyruss Brooker, Joshua Chambers, Jayde McNinch, Tayler Merritt, Hannah Mooers, Whitney Moran, Breanna Phillips, Felicia Prosser, Christopher Richardson, April Smith, Caitlin Tingley, Brittany Britton, Amanda Carmichael, Morgan Fitzpatrick, Megan Hannigan, Gabrielle McGuire, Zachary Tidd, Heather Bendlin, Joshua Bragan, Ashley Drew, Samuel Fitzpatrick, Amanda Fogarty, Makala Folsom, Haley Prosser, Greg Smaligo, Ashley Wilkins and Carlie Woodworth.
Carlie Woodworth, Makala Folsom and Douglas Dickison were recognized for their service on the Dollars for Scholars Committee. Academic Decathlon awards went to Alana Smith and Cody Woods. Excellence in Technological Studies Awards were presented to Daniel Griffin, Samuel Dunbar and Josh Vieira.  Science Fair awards were presented to Isaac Cone, Kole Buzzeo, Josh Sullivan, Breanna Boynton, Avery Kibler, Gabrielle McGuire, Kristopher Albright, Andrew Hanning, Isaac Brown, Dustin Fitzpatrick, Kalista Rattray, Makala Folsom, Ashley Drew, Andy Chan, Lucas Grant, Steven Phillips, Michael Blake, Barrett Dunn, Cody Woods, Kody Gates, Abigail Kinens, Tara Beals, Brandon Clark, Alana Smith, Jayde McNinch and Brielle Boutilier. First-place science fair winner was Cody Woods, second-place Andy Chan and third-place Alana Smith.
The Bausch & Lomb Honorary Science Award was presented to Alana Smith; the Phi Beta Kappa Award to Cody Woods, the Williams College Book Award to Meagan Cloutie; and the Frederick Douglas and Susan B. Anthony Award to Abigail Kinens.
Outstanding Achievement in Art awards were presented to Avery Kibler, Keri Spaulding, Caeley Brown, Gabrielle McGuire and Jaclyn Hodgkins. Excellence in Art awards went to Emilie Newman, Heather Bendlin, Dakota Jenkins, Tara Gray, Sean Lamkins, Maguerite Russell and Britney Keber. Outstanding Achievement in Photography awards went to Amanda Fogarty, Abigail Kinens and Ian Bauersfeld.  Receiving Student Council awards were Cody Woods, Lucas Anderson, Abby Kinens, Tara Beals, Zacharia Harvey, Danika Fitzpatrick, Mallory Clayton, Crystal Nason, Emily Fitzpatrick, Donald McGary, Allyson Carmichael, Isaac Morse, Lucas Grant, Steven Phillips and Ryan Tribou. Receiving certificates for Student of the Month were Allyson Carmichael, Erica Tweedie, Avery Kibler, Kody Gates and Andy Chan.
Class officer awards were given to freshman Class President Amelia St. John, Vice President Robert Woods, Secretary Emily Dee and Treasurer Brielle Boutilier; sophomore class officers President Mallory Clayton, Vice President Rebekah Holmes, Secretary Erynne Howland and Treasurer Taylor Forest; junior class officers President Danika Fitzpatrick, Vice President Zacharia Harvey, Secretary Cody Woods and Treasurer Tara Beals.
Perfect attendance awards went to Ian Bauersfeld, Rebecca Bell, Kole Buzzeo, Andy Chan, Isaac Cone, Amanda Fogarty, Brandon Ward, Ashley Wilkins and Alex York.
Receiving Third Quarter Principal’s Honor Awards were Cody Woods, Kody Gates, Cordell Beaton, Mallory Clayton, Rebekah Holmes, Crystal Nason, Emilie Newman, Melissa Peabody, Franki White, Kole Buzzeo, Joshua Sullivan and Robert Woods.
New England Student Leadership Conference awards went to delegates Cody Woods and Victoria Hanson and nominees Allyson Carmichael and Abigail Kinens.
