The North Country Cruisers held a car show at York’s of Houlton, with 15 classes. Joe Grant’s 1966 Belvedere won the People’s Choice Award and Wayne Crosby’s 1955 Chevy Belair won Best of Show.

1950s class: first, Wayne Crosby, 1955 Chevy; second, Murray Bates, 1957 Pontiac and third, Larry Nelson, 1951 Mercury.
1960s class: first, Bonnie Folsom, 1964 Chevy Impala; second, Kenny Smith, 1965 Impala and third, Rick Tarr, 1967 Chevelle Malibu.
1970s class: first, Kenny Smith, 1972 Chevelle; second, Brent Bailey, 1971 LeMans and third, Levi and Cordell Smith, 1974 Nova.
1980s class: first, Vint Cassidy, 1983 El Camino; second, Percy Cochran, 1982 Trans Am and third, Rod Britton, 1987 Ford GT.

The North Country Cruisers’ next event is a club cookout at the Houlton Tourist Bureau of Information on Sunday, June 26, starting at 1 p.m. It is a potluck dinner, with the club providing hot dogs and hamburgs. After the meal, there will be a cruise.
