After a search that attracted an impressive 26 applicants, one has emerged victorious in his pursuit of the ultimate prize — a dream job as the Young & Free Maine spokesperson. Seth Poplaski, a 24-year-old from Bangor, is the winner of the Young & Free Maine spokesperson job search.
Poplaski discovered he had won the position at an announcement party in Bangor, where he was surprised with nearly 50 of his friends and family, in addition to over 50 representatives from Maine credit unions, including David Rossignol, CEO of NorState FCU.
“We were extremely impressed by the quality of the content our finalists created,” John Murphy, president/CEO of Maine Credit Union League, said.
“Through the combination of his videos, blog entries and how he spread the word about Young & Free Maine, Seth was a stand-out applicant and proved that he has the writing skills, on-air presence and ability to communicate with Maine’s 25 and under crowd that make him an obvious choice for this exciting new opportunity.”
Poplaski won the position after an intense competition with his fellow finalists, Becca Hodgdon and Monique Pelletier (a Presque Isle native), who also reside in Bangor.
