Mona Martin, teen/young adult librarian at the Caribou Public Library has announced the following events that will be part of the Summer Reading program schedule.

Reading logs: June 20 -July 29; read to earn Pizza hut personal pan pizza coupons.

Grade 5-8 Book Group: Monday 1-2 p.m. from June 20-July 25; participants will read, “No more Dead Dogs,” by Gordon Korman.

Grades 9-12 Book Group: Mondays 6 -7 p.m., June 20-July 18; members will read and discuss “Hit the Road,” by Caroline B. Cooney.

You Are Here — Where are you going? Career Fair: Monday, July 18, from 5 to 7 p.m. Meet a range of local professionals including a DJ, firefighter and a financial specialist and learn about their career path. This event will also include learning about online references, personality tests, books and more.

Read-a-thon100: Monday, July 25 from 4 to 7 p.m., non-stop reading combined with a birthday party celebrating the Caribou Public Library’s 100th birthday.
