    Marilyn C. Carlson Adams, 73, has gone to be with her Lord and Savior on June 6, 2011. She was born September 19, 1938 in Dorchester, Massachusetts. She was the daughter of Alan and Martha Gustafson Carlson.
    She graduated from Ricker Institute before enrolling in Worcester Hahnemann Hospital School of Nursing where she received a bachelor degree for registered nurse. She was employed at Aroostook Hospital and Houlton Regional Hospital for over 30 years. She was a special nurse to many cancer patients while working in ASU at Houlton Regional Hospital.
    She is survived by her daughters, Debra Curran of Portland, Connecticut and Roberta Sue Henderson of Houlton; step-daughters Lynn Skehan and husband, Jimmy, and Debbie Adams, all from Houlton, Donna Lord and husband, Weston, of Danforth; grandchildren Rebecca McNutt, Robert Henderson, Kelly Curran, Jasmine Ellis, James Skehan, Isaiah Gillis, Lucas Gillis, Jessica Logue, Sasha Pullen; great-grandson, Caden Pullen; her special cousins Buddy and Russ Carlson; special friends Mary Newhouse, Peggy Benn, Vera Carmichael and all other friends at Four Season Circle and two that were like family, Mary Culer and Steve Moore.
    She was predeceased by her parents, her brother, Robert Carlson and husband, Harold Adams.
    Marilyn was full of life and loved her family very much.  She will be sadly missed.
