This is a local group of quilters that first formed for Make A Difference Day in October of 2010, but then continued to meet weekly throughout the winter. They meet on Tuesdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Washburn Trailrunners Clubhouse, and quilt weekly from October to May, and then monthly throughout the summer.

They have donated a quilt to the Washburn August Festival Committee to raffle off as a fundraiser. Raffle tickets will be available soon for this quilt, which is a full-sized Ohio Star pattern. Raffle tickets will be available from August Festival Committee members, and also at the Washburn branch of Katahdin Trust Company.
