Carson honored
JACKSON, Tenn. — Two hundred seventy-five students have been named to the Union University President’s List for the spring semester.
The President’s List includes full-time students who achieve a 4.0 grade point average on a four-point scale. Making the list locally was Madelyn Mae Carson, of Presque Isle.
Enos graduates
SPEARFISH, S.D. — Over 400 were candidates for Spring 2011 graduation at Black Hills State University. Bachelor degree candidates who graduated with honors included Sarah Enos, of Mapleton, who received a BSED, summa cum laude, in history. Those with the designation of summa cum laude (summa), have obtained a gpa of 3.9 or higher.
Local students make dean’s list
BIDDEFORD — The University of New England has released its spring 2011 dean’s list. Local students honored include: Eagle Lake — Alex Devoe and Justine Drake; Mars Hill — Danielle Cropley; Presque Isle — Zachary Campbell, Liana Cao, Kailee Ireland, Briana White and Molly White; Washburn — Troy Wilcox; and Westfield — Deidre Dicker.
