Racing under way at speedway

CARIBOU –– Memorial Day served as opening day at Spud Speedway.

In the Northern Lights division, Steve Levesque placed first in the 25-lap event, followed by Don Rideout in second, Emma Libby in third, Thomas Everette in fourth and Brandon York in fifth.

Derek Finnemore beat out Carl Tucker for the checkered flag in the 25-lap Hogan Tire Street Stocks.

The Clukey Auto Supply Fat 4s 25-lap race went to Keith Thibeau, Jr. He was followed consecutively by Rick Saucier, Wayne Fox Jr., Jason Forbes, Roy Crawford and Paul Caron.

The Coca-Cola Super Streets 50-lapper was captured by Kris Watson, with Mike Kinney placing second and Mike Howlett third. The rest of the field, in order, included Jason Levesque, Dillon MacDougal, Dana York, Derick Mingo, Matt Farnham and Eric Argraves.

In the 75-lap Late Model Sportsman class, Austin Theriault came out on top, with Deane Smart placing second and J.R. Robinson in third. John Albert and Chris Collidge were fourth and fifth, respectively.
