LIMESTONE — Baton and dance school Northstar Twirlers held their annual recital on May 22, drawing a larger crowd than the groups had ever performed before.
With twirlers ranging in age from 3 to 18, youths displayed their talents in baton twirling, pom-pom waving, jazz/tap dancing and this year’s repertoire even included a ballet-inspired routine.
Northstar Twirlers added a new group this year, the P.I. Twirlers, providing an opportunity for young ladies living in and around Presque Isle to try their hand at baton twirling.
Registration for next year’s classes begins in early September; additional information regarding the Northstar Twirlers, instructed by Jessica Goodwin and Karen Stackhouse, can be obtained by calling 325-4863.
