To the editor:
In October of 2010, my children lost their father, Jeffrey Jewell, to cancer. Since his death our oldest daughter, Zoe, has been going through counseling and finding ways of helping her to deal with her father’s death.
Zoe recently created a binder at one of her counseling sessions that she wants to fill with stories and memories that people have of her father. Jeff was an amazing person in many ways and I would like to invite anyone who remembers Jeff to share their stories and memories of him with Zoe. I am hoping that by Fathers Day we will have enough gathered so that we can take some time to read them and remember Jeff, since this will be the girls’ first Fathers Day without their dad.
So if anybody reading this would like to forward letters to Zoe, you have no idea how much the girls would appreciate it. All correspondence can be sent to: Zoe Jewell, 520 Park Ave., Auburn, ME 04210.
Thank you for taking the time to help.
