At around 2:32 p.m., a man went to the Presque Isle Police Department reporting staff members at Northern Maine Community College had just witnessed a man, with a beard, wearing a dress, leaving the gym. The individual was last seen leaving the campus driving an “old beat up pick-up truck.”

At 2:45 p.m., a similar incident was reported by security at the Aroostook Centre Mall. Security called the PIPD advising a man wearing a woman’s bathing suit just left the mall. The individual was also reportedly wearing a woman’s wig. The caller said as soon as he saw security, the man jumped into a blue and gray Chevy pickup and “tore out of the parking lot,” heading east.
Officer Kevin Schumacher responded but was unable to locate the individual or the vehicle.
No additional reports of such suspicious behavior have been received by the PIPD. No charges are pending; police only sought to question the man about his behavior.
