NEW SWEDEN — With the theme of “Back to Hiking,” Boy Scout Troop 186 will be hosting their annual Spring Camporee this weekend at the Hildebrand Family Farm on West Road in New Sweden.
According to Scoutmaster Jeff Robertson, the event will consist of several competitive events that will encompass Scout Spirit, leadership and attributes of the Scout Law.
The North Star Spring Camporee Trophy will be awarded to the best overall troop at the camporee on Sunday morning.

Pre-registration is requested; interested Scout leaders are encouraged to send an e-mail to pflick@maine.rr.com with an estimated number of Scouts and adults wishing to attend.
