On Sunday, May 22 at 10:30 a.m., Houlton native Matthew Deprez will be speaking at the Houlton Wesleyan Church.
Deprez, a 2000 Houlton High School graduate, speaks internationally at conferences, colleges, churches, and retreats on issues surrounding shifts in church culture and intergenerational ministry. He is currently on staff at Frontline Community Church, which reaches as many as 1,500 people every weekend, in Grand Rapids, MI.
Deprez is currently pursuing his Masters in Old Testament Theology/Hebrew Semitics at Grand Rapids Theological Seminary and is the author of two books: Rediscovering Jesus and Why We’re Unashamedly Intergenerational.
He lives in Grand Rapids, MI, with his wife, Megan, and their son, Isaiah. Deprez is the son of Daniel and Judy Deprez of Houlton. His brother, Daniel Deprez Jr. also graduated in 1999 from Houlton High School.
