A select group of employees was also honored for embodying the mission of Pines in their day-to-day interaction with patients. These individuals were “Caught Caring” by fellow employees, who nominated them for their genuine compassion and “above and beyond” service to patients. The 2010 Caught Caring honorees were Alma Argraves, RN; Sheila Caron, RN; Paula Jamieson; Lisa Michaud; Gloria Sund; and Karla St. Peter.
“It was an honor to be among those Pines staff who reached an important milestone in the organization,” said Lisa Caron, Chief Operating Officer of Pines Health Services.
Jim Davis, CEO echoed Caron’s sentiments.
“I look forward to this annual opportunity to recognize members of the Pines team for years of service and for having been ‘Caught Caring.’ These individuals truly exemplify the quality and compassion found throughout our Pines family,” he said.
“From the moment our patients walk through our doors or call us and are greeted by a team member, the Pines difference comes through in every contact,” Davis added.
The banquet room was transformed into a tropical paradise, with many attendees sporting Hawaiian shirts, flip flops, grass skirts, and Hibiscus blossoms in their hair. A beach-themed music video featured the honored guests.
