PT Margaret Campbell    SACO – Margaret F. Campbell, 93, of Saco, passed away early Friday morning on May 6, 2011 at Southern Maine Medical Center in Biddeford.
    She was born in Houlton on July 14, 1917, a daughter of Ira and Hannah Cullins Foster. She was educated from Houlton schools.
    Margaret worked very hard on the family farm harvesting potato fields in Linneus with her husband, Darwin. She then worked as a sales associate at JC Penney in Houlton for 20 years, retiring in 1985. While living in Linneus and Houlton, she was an active member at the Church of the Good Shepherd. She was also a member of the Rebekah’s Independent Order of Odd Fellows, Lodge No. 78.
    In 1985, she moved to Seabrook, NH to be with her daughter where she was employed at Adhesive Technologies in Hampton, NH.
    In 2007, she moved to Saco to be near grandchildren and became an active member at Trinity Episcopal Church. She volunteered at turkey and potluck suppers and is well-known for selling raffle tickets.
    Margaret had a passion for cooking and feeding people. She enjoyed shopping, crafts, the Red Sox and eating lobster. She loved her family, church family and friends and will be missed by all.
    Margaret was predeceased by her husband Darwin on April 21, 1967.
    She is survived by one daughter, Beverly Mandabach of Saco; two granddaughters, Lisa Mandabach of Biddeford, Terry Blanchette and her husband Richard of Saco; four great-grandchildren, Roger and his girlfriend Rebecca, Amanda and her  husband Ian, Peggy, Shawn and his girlfriend Theresa; one great-great granddaughter, Lily; and a special family friend, Jason.
    A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, May 20, 2011 at Trinity Episcopal Church in Saco. Burial will be private at a later date. Arrangements are by Cote Funeral Home, Saco. To send private condolences to the family go to  www.cotefuneral home.com.
