BAR HARBORPresque Isle track team travels for relay meet in Bar Harbor — The early-spring tradition of the MDI Relays continued this year as Caribou, Presque Isle and Limestone-MSSM all made the trip to compete on Saturday.
Presque Isle’s girls took sixth place in the event, with the Wildcat boys placing seventh.
The Old Town girls and Hampden boys captured the team titles. More than 800 athletes representing 22 high schools from throughout Eastern Maine competed during the day.

4×100-meter relay: fourth, Presque Isle ‘A’ (Sam Clukey, Logan Good, Ben Sipe and Justin Good), 47.78 seconds.
Pole vault team: second, Presque Isle ‘A’, 25 feet; sixth, Caribou ‘A’, 16 feet, 6 inches.
High jump team: fourth, Presque Isle ‘A’, 15 feet.
Long jump team: third, Presque Isle ‘A’, 51 feet, 7 inches.
Triple jump team: fifth, Presque Isle ‘A’, 96 feet, 9 inches.
Discus throw team: sixth, Presque Isle ‘A’, 243 feet, 9 inches.
Shot put team: third, Presque Isle ‘A’, 107 feet, 11-1/4 inches.

Javelin throw team: Presque Isle ‘A’, 219 feet, 6 inches.
