Miss Eastern Maine Queen title
Young ladies from all over eastern Maine recently gathered at Woodland Elementary School in Baileyville in the quest for a Miss Eastern Maine Queen title.

Known for its fun and exciting atmosphere, the Eastern Maine Pageant attracts the highest caliber of contestants ages 5 and older from the counties of Aroostook, Hancock, Penobscot, Piscataquis and Washington. Pictured is Junior Miss Eastern Maine Katarina Pinet of Lincoln awarding Skyler McAtee of Presque with her winnings for Junior Miss Eastern Maine Photogenic Queen. Other local winners in the Junior Miss division include Emily Poitras of Presque who was awarded as second-runner up in Photogenic; Makayla Shackett of Perham who was awarded first runner-up in Talent and second runner-up to Junior Miss Eastern Maine 2011; and Victoria Williamson of Presque Isle who was awarded first runner-up in Photogenic, second runner-up in Talent, and first runner-up to Junior Miss Eastern Maine 2011. In the Little Miss division, Alyssa Shackett won second runner-up in Photogenic; and Allison Morton of Mapleton earned fourth runner-up to Little Miss Eastern Maine 2011. Presque Isle’s Jordyn Kinney earned second runner-up to Ms. Eastern Maine 2011.
