Lifeguard class offered
The Presque Isle Indoor Pool will be offering an American Red Cross Lifeguard Class May 15, 21 and 22 from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. each day.
Those interested must be at least 15 years old and able to swim 300 yards doing front crawl and breaststroke without stopping. He or she must also be able to retrieve a 10 lb. brick from the deep end of the pool and tow in back in one minute and 40 seconds.
This course certifies in first aid, professional CPR/AED and lifeguard. The cost is $200. Call 764-2564 for more information.
