Caribou Parks and Recreation staff members invite anyone interested in learning all about the variety of birds that frequent the Collins Pond area, to join them on each Friday this month, beginning May 6 from 8 to 9 a.m. and again from 4 to 5 p.m.
This program is offered as part of Cary Medical Center’s Healthy You program and promises to be informational as well as fun. Participants are encouraged to bring their binoculars but for those who don’t have any — don’t worry there will be some provided as well as spotting scopes.
Don’t miss out on this chance to do some bird-watching — you just might be amazed at the number of different birds that are right here in downtown Caribou.
