Resume and Interviewing Skills Workshops
The Houlton Higher Education Center and Maine Adult Education Career Pathways will be presenting two, two-hour workshops on Thursday, May 12. The morning session (10 a.m. to noon) will cover the importance of starting and maintaining a job search resume. The afternoon session (1-3 p.m.) will focus on interviewing skills during your job search. The Higher Education Center and the Maine Career Center provide these workshops at no cost. Peter Lento from the Maine Career Center will be the presenter. Please pre-register by May 10.
High School Seniors for College
Local high school seniors who are considering college locally should call Otis Smith or Jean Henderson at the Houlton Higher Education Center (521-3100) for information about federal financial aid and college admissions. For information about college transitions courses leading to early 2012 college admission, call 521-3100 x5 and ask about the CAP College Transitions classes that will be starting in September 2011.
