While last Friday’s storm kept Halfway Home Pet Rescue volunteers from attending the Annual Recognition Dinner sponsored by the Caribou Area Chamber of Commerce, a small gathering — complete with light refreshments — was coordinated by interim Chamber Director Jenny Coon on Monday morning to honor the occasion of the organization tangibly receiving their Caribou Spirit Award. Attending the small ceremony were, front row, from left: HHPR Vice President Anne Price and Board Member Carole Houlette.
