CARIBOU — Though the store’s been open since December 15 of last year Brambleberry Market owners Debbie and Kendall Sutherland have announced they will be hosting a Grand Opening on Friday, April 15 and Saturday, April 16.
“Our store opened at a very busy time of year, right before Christmas, and we didn’t really have a chance to do a grand opening, “ said Debbie. “Now, after four months of being in business, we are doing just that.”
The Sutherlands are inviting all to Brambleberry Market’s Grand Opening, during which refreshments will be served and door prizes will be given away. In addition, the store will be offering special sales on their merchandise.
Brambleberry Market features a new local artisan each month. “We thought this would be a great way to show off the work of our local artisans. For the month of April, we are featuring a husband and wife team from Fort Fairfield: Rick and Sheri Anderson,” Debbie said.
Aside from the works of local artists, Brambleberry Market also sells country, primitive and inspirational gifts, Bibles and Christian books. They also sell First Communion, Confirmation and Christian inspired jewelry.
Brambleberry Market is located at 25 Sweden Street in Caribou. The store is open Tuesday through Friday from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The store can be reached at 498-8000.
