Knights of Columbus
Council 2524 Knights of Columbus in Presque Isle held their 12th annual Senior Citizens Banquet at their hall in Presque Isle on Feb. 27.

More than 200 guests enjoyed the ham dinner prepared by chef Louis Saucier and his crew. Members of the Knights of Columbus set up the hall and waited on the guests. Roland and Louella Cyr, Douglas Michaud, Charlene Burgee and Leonard Jandreau, provided music while guests enjoyed their dinner. Door prizes were given out after dinner and games were played. Prizes for the games and door prizes were donated by several area merchants. Bob Cormier, master of ceremonies for the banquet, presented awards to the following individuals, pictured from left: Eldest Gentleman and Eldest Veteran went to Stephen Naas; and Longest Married Couple, Carmen and Alban Thibodeau Carman, who was also the Eldest Lady at the event.
