Dragonflies and love

NIE-Chelsi Murray-dcx-ptThe dragonfly can live up to five years under water preparing for its short four months of flight.  It breathes through gills and has a rectangular jaw to catch food under water.  After five years of preparing, the dragonfly crawls up the stem of a water plant at night and waits for the morning sun.  When the sun dries its wings it takes flight for the first time with one goal – to find its true love!  The dragonfly focuses its amazing eyes on that one match and will be loyal forever!  Legend tells that the joining of two dragonflies forms a perfect heart shape: it is in nature, that the heart as the symbol of true love came to be. Remember life is short and soon to pass, only true love will forever last.
