Caswell school, grades 5 and 4
When school started there was a new girl in school. She was in fourth grade when we met. Her name was Cassidy. She was nine years old and she had blond hair and blue eyes. I was older than her but she was taller but we didn’t care. I showed her around and I sat next to her at lunch and breakfast so she wouldn’t be lonely. WE became friends about 20 minutes later. She said we would be best friends forever and I said it right back to her. We have never had a fight before and I don’t think we ever will. Now we go to each others houses and we share food at lunch time. We trust each other very much and if anyone says anything about her or someone says anything about me, we will tell each other. If I got hurt she would be there for me and if she got hurt I would be there for her. We would get there no matter what even if we had to hitch hike!
Usually some friends don’t get to see each other that much like we do. We go everywhere together and we always will.
We make up dances together for our favorite songs and we keep them to our selves. We are very close and we will do whatever we can to be together. I know we will be close friends because her step-father Larry and my dad Allan are close friends themselves.
