Watercolor class begins next week
“Watercolors, Drawing on Your Untapped Talent” is scheduled to begin next Thursday, March 17, 6-8:30 p.m., for 10 Thursday evenings through May 26. You will learn the techniques of creating beautiful watercolor paintings. Geared for every talent level; no art background necessary. The instructor is David Whalen and the course fee is $50 — materials extra. The class will be held at the Houlton High School. Forestry 101
The Maine Forest Service, SASWCD Winter Ag Schools, and Adult Education present an introduction to the pest issues, regulations, and tax laws that are important to all land owners and their employees. This free workshop is open to the public and will be held on Tuesday, March 15 from 6 – 9 pm at the Houlton High School Library. Pesticide Applicator credit, CLP and QLP continuing education credit may be earned.
