To the ‘knitting lady’

To the editor:
    Sometimes in everyday wear and tear, we forget to recognize the people who do very special things but are never given a big “thank you”!
    I would like to give Josephine McGuire a huge thank you for all the homemade mittens and hats that were delivered to children in one of our local schools. So many children aren’t lucky enough to have a grandmother or grandma, to do that for them. So for those lucky children who get a homemade pair of mittens or hat, believe me, Josephine made them from her heart, so enjoy them.
