Snowshoe hike slated

The Francis Malcolm Science Center invites the public for a snowshoe hike through the woods across from the center Saturday, Feb. 12 at 6 p.m.

Trails range from half a mile to two miles in length, taking approximately 45 minutes to 1-1/2 hours to complete.  Reflective tacks have been placed on trees and flashlights are recommended. Hot chocolate will be provided upon to the Science Center.

The cost is $2.50 for adults and $1.50 for students and seniors. Members can hike for free. Various sizes of snowshoes are available at no charge with paid admission, however quantities are limited and must be reserved in advance.

The Science Center is located at 776 Houlton Road in Easton. Call 488-5451 to make reservations.
