United Insurance continues to grow

United Insurance has announced the merger of Foss and Came Insurance Agency in Rochester, N.H. The purchase came about as the result of collaboration between United Insurance President and CEO Chris Condon and the former owners of Foss and Came, Jim Foss and Kip Howland.

“We are pleased to have Foss & Came merge with United Insurance. Its commitment to clients and the Rochester community matches our organization well. We are especially pleased to have the staff of Foss & Came joining our team,” stated Condon.

The Foss and Came Agency opened its doors in 1949 with the original owner being Jim Foss. Foss and Came is located at 7 Hanson St. in Rochester. United Insurance is a locally-owned and -operated organization with 15 independent agencies located throughout Maine and New Hampshire.

The prior owners said they look forward to many positive things happening and the agency continuing to grow as they join United Insurance.
