PATTEN — Tom Van Coverden, president and CEO of the National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC) announced that Linda Goodall, board chairman since 2002 of Katahdin Valley Health Center (KVHC) has successfully completed all requirements in the National Association of Community Health Center’s Health Center Governance Program.
NACHC is a nonprofit organization formed by America’s Health Centers. Since 1971, NACHC has provided education, training, advocacy and technical support services to its members and has worked to expand access to primary and preventive care to all people in need through the patient-centered, community-based health center model.
Goodall was awarded with a certificate of completion and a NACHC lapel pin as a token of appreciation for her work on behalf of America’s Health Centers. Van Coverden in congratulating Linda Goodall said “Your participation in and completion of the program is a testament to your commitment to quality health center leadership.”

Durward Humphrey, CEO of Katahdin Valley Health Center said “Linda is the first KVHC board member to achieve this certification and this event is another milestone for KVHC.”
Humphrey and the KVHC board of directors at the last board meeting thanked Goodall, for not only her dedication over the past four years to reach this achievement but also for her dedication over the past nine years and her continued dedication as a health center advocate and leader in the community.
KVHC has clinics in Patten, Island Falls, Houlton and Millinocket.
