Gaige Flewelling, son of Harold and Aimee Flewelling of Houlton, has been named the DAR Good Citizen candidate from Houlton High School. Flewelling was nominated by the faculty and voted on by the members of the senior class and will be entered in the DAR Good Citizens Scholarship Contest. He was selected on the basis of dependability, service, leadership and patriotism. The opportunity to participate in the DAR Good Citizens Program and Scholarship Contest is extended and sponsored by Katahdin Valley – Lydia Putnam Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution.
