Police arrested Nicole Green, 28, and John Sam, 22, in Caribou on Friday evening, six days after the crime was committed, when an officer was notified of a suspicious individual crawling into an apartment window.

Officers arrested Thirisha Simon, 32 of Caribou on Sunday.

Green, Sam and Simon allegedly forced their way into a Caribou apartment early New Year’s Day; once inside, they stole the cellular phones away from the two individuals occupying the apartment — they also disabled the phones, a crime in itself — and proceeded to assault the victims in front of one of the victim’s 6-year-old child. The two were treated for their injuries at Cary Medical Center  and released.

Caribou Police Chief Michael Gahagan credits the collaboration of his officers with resolving the case, and expressed his appreciation for the community’s support.

The three were all taken to the Aroostook County Jail in Houlton, where bail was set at $10,000 cash or $25,000 surety on each suspect.
