BLAINE – Louise C. Bell, 93, died at her home December 14, 2010. She was born January 26, 1917, in South Jefferson, the daughter of Charles and Georgia (Gilcott) Newell.
Louise was predeceased by her first husband, George Caldwell; her second husband, Frank Bell; and sons, David and Jerry Caldwell.
She is survived by two sons, Ronald “Buddy” Caldwell and his wife, Bess of Tennessee, and Roger Bell and his wife, Cindy of Mars Hill; two daughters, Carolee Kline and her husband, Clarence of Hagerstown, MD, and Patricia Burgher and her husband, Norman of Mars Hill; daughters-in-law, Brenda Caldwell of Bridgewater, and Jean Caldwell of Mars Hill; 14 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
There will be no calling hours. Private funeral services were conducted Monday, December 20. Interment was in the East Blaine Cemetery.
