Sustainable government is focus
of LEAD breakfast scheduled
for Dec. 14 at NMCC
PRESQUE ISLE — Leaders Encouraging Aroostook Development is following major challenges identified by GrowSmart Maine Executive Director Nancy Smith who will be discussing results of a report entitled “Reinventing Maine Government” during a breakfast meeting on Tuesday, Dec. 14, beginning at 7:30 a.m. at Edmunds Conference Center, Northern Maine Community College.
During the gathering, Smith will present findings of the 83-page report prepared by Envision Maine, with the topic of the session being “How Mainers Can Shape a Sustainable Government and New Prosperity.” A brief meeting of the LEAD Board of Directors will follow.
