Presque Isle’s annual Holiday Light Parade

A THREAT OF NASTY weather might have moved Presque Isle’s annual Holiday Light Parade from Saturday to Sunday, but neither snow, nor rain, nor intermittent rain could keep the guests of honor — Santa and Mrs. Claus — from making a much anticipated appearance. Theresa Fowler, executive director of the PI Area Chamber of Commerce, said the 24-hour postponement did little to dampen festive holiday spirits and thanked the many volunteers, parade participants and spectators for their faithful service to the community. Results of the parade float contest and more photos will appear in next week’s issue.
