FORT FAIRFIELD – The Pine and Spurs Riding Club met Oct. 23 for its year-end awards pot luck and election of officers. President Kim Cheney handed out high point awards to more than 20 horses and riders from the summer show season. This year’s winners were as follows:
High Point Adult Game Horse: Champion, Dave McCrea with Rudy; Reserve, Randy Johnson with Smoke.
High Point Youth Game Horse: Champion, Morgan Barlett with Morgan’s Merilight; Reserve, Stacia Caron with Shylow.
High Point Youth Leadline: Champion, Camryn Ala with Towerhill Mary O’Roo; Reserve, Megan Robinson with Gypsy.
High Point Youth Walk-Trot: Champion, Anna Robinson with Gypsy; Reserve, Meg Gagnon with Chianti Doc Tradition.
High Point Youth English Performance Horse: Champion, Paige Gagnon with Hot Flash Annie; Reserve, Madelyn Caron and Jetalicious Sacred Star.
High Point Youth Western Performance Horse: Champion, Morgan Barlett with Morgan’s Merilight; Reserve, Stacia Caron with Shylow.
