UMPI’s Outdoor Adventure Program
to host three new public events
PRESQUE ISLE – The University of Maine at Presque Isle’s Outdoor Adventure Program will host three more events to close out the 2010-11 fall semester.
On Wednesday, Nov. 17, women will get an opportunity to have the rock wall in Gentile Hall to themselves from 6-8 p.m. when OAPI hosts its second Women’s Climbing Night of the semester. On Saturday, Nov. 20, registrants will go caving in Quebec and crawl through natural caves hidden in the hillside to discover a world unexplored! No experience is required and the registration deadline for this event is Nov. 17 at 4 p.m. To close out the semester, registrants will be able to participate in Biathlon Target Practice at Nordic Heritage Ski Center Friday, Dec. 3. Instruction and activities for this event will be led by local elite biathletes; the registration deadline is Wednesday, Dec. 1 by 4 p.m.
