The Central Aroostook Historical Society will be holding a public meeting on Monday, Dec. 6 at 7 p.m. in the Central Aroostook High School Music Room. This meeting is for any of the Mars Hill, Blaine, E Plantation, Robinson and Westfield community members who would like to be part of the discussion of the former Mars Hill Ski Way/Ski Way of Aroostook and the old early one- or two-room schoolhouses in the area. The ski area is planning their 50th anniversary for 2011.

The society is looking for any old memorabilia. If you have any pictures or newspaper articles of any event that has taken place at the mountain in its earlier years, or would be related to area schools in the early 1900s and would like to share them with the society, it would be greatly appreciated.
