Cheerleading

Cheerleading for grades 5 and 6 starts Dec. 2 and runs through March 24, 2011 and meets on Tuesday and Thursday from 3-5 p.m. Pre-registration is required.

Men’s 30-and-over basketball

Men’s 30 and over hoop meets Tuesdays from 7-9 p.m. and Sundays from 10-12 noon at the Caribou Wellness and Recreation Center. This program is designed for gentlemen ages 30 and over. There is a $3 per person fee on Sundays.

Adult volleyball

The recreation department is offering a pick-up volleyball league for area adults on Thursday evenings from 6:30-9 p.m. through Jan. 27, 2011. Participants must be out of high school. There is no fee for this program. The program will not be held this week due to elections but will continue the following Thursday.

Fall/winter program booklets

Please note that the fall/winter program booklets are now available at the recreation office. Registrations are now being accepted for all fall and winter programs. Program details are also available online at www.caribourec.org.

Zumba offered

Zumba is offered on Tuesdays from 9-10 a.m. and 6:15-7:15 p.m. and Saturdays from 9-10 a.m. Classes are $8 per class, payable to the instructor.

Walking hours

Walking hours at the Caribou Wellness and Recreation Center are now Monday through Friday from 6 a.m.-9 p.m. and Saturdays from noon-4 p.m.

Gingerbread house decorating planned

Caribou Parks and Recreation Department is hosting gingerbread house decorating on Friday, Dec. 3 from 6-8 p.m.

Men’s basketball game schedule

This week’s schedule in the Caribou Men’s Basketball League will see Eureka Hall and Leo’s Citgo play  tonight at 7 p.m., followed by Time Warner vs. Fitzherbert’s at 8 p.m.

On Monday. Nov. 15, Eureka Hall and Time Warner will square off at 7 p.m., followed by Loring Job Corps and St. Peter Construction battling at 8 p.m.
