    COTY, Berniece Lyons Stevens, 67, MAPLETON, October 20, 2010. Arrangements are in the care of Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, Presque Isle.


 

    MAPLETON – Berniece M. Coty, 67, passed away October 20, 2010, following a long illness. She was born April 14, 1943, in West Lubec, the daughter of Richard and Mary (Reynolds) Lyons. She grew up in Dennysville and graduated from Dennysville High School.
    Berniece loved spending time with family, shopping trips were always a great pleasure, and caring for her dogs. She had been employed at The Aroosootok Medical Center in Presque Isle for several years.
    She was predeceased by her father, Richard; and brother-in-law, Carroll Langille, Sr.
    She is survived by her husband, Roger Coty; her mother, Mary of Mapleton; a daughter and her husband, Annette and Craig Staples  and their children, Kyle and Emily Staples all of Caribou; son, Tommy Stevens of Augusta and his children, Ashley Stevens and her fiancé, Jamie Kennedy and their children, Kohen and Alex Kennedy all of Mapleton, and Christopher Stevens and his fiancé, Elizabeth Cook of Limestone; a son, Michael Stevens of Mapleton and his children, Chelsea Adams and her son, Gavyn Kilcollins, Kayla Carney of Mapleton, Seth and Jeremy Stevens of Presque Isle, and a son Troy Coty of Mapleton; brothers, Robert and Bonnie Lyons of Red Beach, Edwin and Nancy Lyons of Chapman; and her favorite sister, Marcia Langille of Mapleton; special niece and nephew, Wendy and Brian Copeland and their children, Molly Skylee and Jonathan Copeland of Mapleton; special nephew and niece, Carroll, Jr. and Jennifer Langille and their children, Emma, Maxx and Mason Langille, all of Mapleton; brothers and sisters-in-Law, Gloria and Arthur Cote of Bangor, Freda Pietka, and Howard Cote both of Presque Isle, and Deanna and Bill Jackson of York Town, Virginia.
    Funeral services were conducted 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 24, at  Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St., Presque Isle, with Rev Larry Palmer officiating.
