State HS golf results
On Saturday, the state Class C individual golf championship was held on the Arrowhead Course, par 72, at Natanis Golf Course in Vassalboro, while the Class B event was held on the par 72 Tomahawk course, also at Natanis.
Wet, sloppy conditions greeted local golfers from Presque Isle, Caribou, Central Aroostook and Fort Fairfield.
In Class C, Jordan Jones of Wiscasset was the top golfer with his low round of 75. Kaine Kingsbury of Central Aroostook fired an 85, while Brandon Clark of Fort Fairfield shot a 105.
In Class B, Greg Martin of Ellsworth was the top golfer with a 77. Presque Isle’s Adam Flynn shot an 89, while Caribou’s Matt Kamm also shot an 89. Wildcats Evan Waddell (91), Travis Dyer (99) and Jordan Hallett (99) also participated.
