Halloween event planned

for Easton area children

EASTON NEWS

by Debbie Smith

The churches in Easton gather together every month that has a fifth Sunday. This month the fifth Sunday is on Halloween, so the pastors agreed to have their churches come together at the Wesleyan Church for their annual Trunk-or-Treat program. This year’s program will involve an hour of carnival games, crafts and a 20-minute presentation with the gospel theme. Then the kids will go out and gather candy from the car trunks in the parking lot.

If you attend any one of the five churches in Easton and would be willing to help with registration, taking kids’ pictures, running a game, helping kids with crafts, making balloon animals or using your car trunk to hand out candy, please call Pastor Vaughn at 227-3589. We would also appreciate any bags of candy that can be donated for our program. Thank you all.
