Caribou Middle School September Students of the Month

CARIBOU, Maine — Susan White, principal at the Caribou Middle School, and the CMS teachers in grades 6-8 have announced the following students were selected to be the Students of the Month for September.

Emma Theriault, a sixth-grade student, was named Student of the Month for September by her teachers Mr. John Pelletier and Mrs. Ruth Dionne. Her teachers stated, “Emma is an excellent student who is conscientious in everything that she undertakes. Friendly, thoughtful and polite to her classmates as well as to her teachers, she is never too busy to help anyone in need. Emma’s quiet demeanor and sense of humor make her popular with her teammates. She is also a member of the CMS chorus.

Zach Wright a member of the sixth grade was selected to be the CMS Student of the Month for September by his teachers Ms. Sarah LaJoie and Mrs. Cathy Bouchard. The team teachers said, “Zach has an easy-going personality, which allows him to be friendly to both students and adults. Very dependable and a hard worker, Zach played Little League this past summer and enjoys the Red Sox.” His teachers also said they had been told that Zach really enjoys wrestling and they are looking forward to watching him wrestle this year.

Taitem Lindsey was named Caribou Middle School Student of the Month for September by her seventh-grade teachers Ms. Richardson, Mrs. Rhinebolt, Mrs. Curtis, Mrs. Barnes and Mr. Perreault. The CMS teachers said, “Taitem is a pleasant young lady who has shown exemplar characteristics here thus far at CMS. A joy to have in class, respectful of all of her peers and teachers, she is currently enjoying her leadership roles on the girls’ soccer team as one of the managers.”

Bradley Doody is a seventh-grade student who was chosen as the Student of the Month for September by his teachers Ms. Shelly Richardson, Mrs. Holly Rhinebolt, Mrs. Mary Curtis, Mrs. Kim Barnes and Mr. Steve Perreault. The CMS team teachers stated, “Bradley is an outstanding young man who is very kind, polite and willing to work with anyone. He takes pride in his schoolwork and will lend a hand to a fellow student or teacher. Bradley enjoys ELA, social studies and science, is a member of the CMS cross-country ski team and can also be found working on his family’s farm.”

Christina Zell was selected as Student of the Month for September by her eighth-grade teachers, Mrs. Shannon Sleeper, Mrs. Jessica Dow, Mr. Ralph Fantasia, Mr. Travis Barnes and Mr. Troy Barnes. The CMS teachers said, “Christina is an outstanding school citizen who participates in class and is very helpful to anyone in need. She is the cross-country team manager, plays the piano and also takes art lessons. Christina is a pleasure to have in class and is an asset to our school community.”

Kristopher Michaud, a grade-eight student at the Caribou Middle School was chosen  as the Student of the Month for September by his teachers Mrs. Sleeper, Mrs. Dow, Mr. Fantasia, Mr. Travis Barnes and Mr. Troy Barnes. The CMS team teachers stated, “Kris is an outstanding student who sets high standards for himself. It is very common to see him lending a helping hand to his fellow classmates and he is always looking for ways to assist others. Kris’ academic success is viewed as being very important and he strives for the best in all that he does. While at CMS Kris can be seen participating in the band and he is also a member of the tennis team.”
